The only people with a conscience left saying they’ll vote for her in my experience are people who are particularly desperate about women’s healthcare and who are sucking it up. I imagine that’s why she’s so desperate for male voters.

if kamala wins those people are gonna be really disappointed when women’s healthcare continues to be dismantled and she does fuck all about it just like the dems now, and always. Obama regime had for a while full majority in both bodies of congress and majority governorships and executive and a sympathetic to RoevWade court and could have enshrined abortion rights and contraceptive access right then and there (as well as LGBTQ civil rights protections and countless other things) rather than letting it sit in a tangential legal precedent. but they did nothing other than bail out the banks and allow the ruining of vast swathes of working class (and largely PoC) families. Then didn’t pressure RBG to retire and also gave away an open seat (so 2 supreme court seats) for free to the Dems’ “good friends across the aisle” meaning the veritable Holden Bloodfeasts of the Republican party. And now Biden is denouncing even the idea of expanding or packing the court and has done very little, close to nothing, against womens’ and LGBTQ rights being stripped everywhere; and even kept on a bunch of Trumps’ reactionary and corporate-thug judges on.

I’ve been trying to explain this to people so hopefully if/when that happens they can become radicalized because this shit is not working, has not worked, and will not work.

The most hilarious thing would be her sitting in an interview long enough for Rogan to actually pin down one of her policy positions.

pin down one of her policy positions

“So - you were against weed? And now you’re pro weed?”

“That is not an accurate explanation of my policy positions on this complex topic.”

“Okay. Can ya tell us in detail what our position is right now? And then we’ll talk about what it used to be.”

“The polling of my campaign is the issue that affects every other issue. Therefore this being that case that I endeavor to answer questions fulsomely. Yesterday I announced that, as president, I’ll establish a weed forgiveness program with an emphasis on the black community who are part of certain podcast audiences who start a business that operates for three years in disadvantaged communities…”

I kept saying Kamala was trying to do an impression of Obama because he was a true master at speaking at length but not saying very much, sprinkling in lies, and adding large dollops of pre-compromises. Her worldview is the same as his. But his manner of speaking does not suit her at all. My theory was wrong. She surely knows she’s not a master of rhetoric. She wouldn’t try to copy him. And then it hit me. He’s been staring at me in the face: Buttigieg. At her worst she can’t help but mimic him.

Where Obama would lie with fancy language - Buttigieg’s comments are very hard to define as lies because he hardly says anything of note. Content and meaning are sorely lacking. He’s a machine that generates jargon, neoliberal constructs, business-speak and doubletalk. She tries to do that too but she’s pretty bad at it.

I’m not saying that there’s an AI Kamalabot out there, but if there was, you nailed its output spectacularly

I hope we get one of the rare lucid moments from Rogan in this episode, like when he randomly called out Jordan Peterson on some faulty incel logic.

It’s like that theory with a cat in a box. I cannot for the life of me remember that cat’s name.

Rogan is an idiot, but did you know that his podcast is the most popular one in the world? It has 16 million subscribers, I think just on Spotify. “Alt right” is too reductive; this would be an excellent move for Harris.

    hunt for male voters

Well, that’s one way to tilt the odds in your favor, but will it pass muster with the FEC?

Edit: I misread the headline but w/e I’ll let it ride.
