I’m from and in Lebanon. The name didn’t immediately register as تركيا الفتاة (“Turkey the Young” - direct translation but not necessarily intuitively the same). Their legacy here is mostly Jamal Basha “السفاح”, literally “The Butcher”. My understanding is that in Turkey they’re looked back on as more of a modernizing reform movement.
