  • There’s 3 ways this goes from here and I don’t really have a good argument to make for any of them being significantly more or less likely:

    • Nothing significant happens, more saber rattling, Hezbollah regroups and puts up new figurehead, Israel continues air campaign with no land invasion
    • Zionists invade Lebanon because they’re confident they debilitated Hezbollah enough
    • The resistance retaliates in a manner that’s grave enough to cause an escalation from Israel and the US over a longer timespan than possibility 2

I think possibility 3 is not as likely just because Iran is going to hold back the other members of the resistance from getting the US involved, but I can’t discard the possibility since they still haven’t retaliated over Haniyeh’s assassination. So 6 or 7?

  • Liberals are conditioned to believe that their positions are metaphysically ordained to be correct, the forces of the universe coalesce around their enormous brains and they have arrived at the ultimate form of truth. Chuds tend to either have a soft version of that through religion, or to be literally reactionary in the sense that all their positions are kneejerk reactions to the stuff they hear other people say. Then again, a lot of wealthier chuddy types buy into the horrible GOP positions because they stand to benefit from them directly, and there’s no convincing those.

  • I hate when you bring up factual information against a COVID denier, then they say it doesn’t apply because they live somewhere else, but fail to actually provide any information that is relevant to them. Not to mention that vaccination rates are low worldwide so there is no herd immunity or any mechanism to prevent infection rates from homogenizing worldwide so if there’s a huge bump in America there necessarily has to be a bump worldwide, how could there not be?
