          Ehh, idk about that. Sure it’s not like, absolutely mega popular, but math channels like 3blue1brown and Numberphile, along with general “sciency” channels like Veritasium and Vsauce Michael Here, have a very wide penetration into the sorta intellectual adjacent audience. Anyone that used to just throw on the Discovery channel 20 years ago is probably aware of those channels if they spend any time on youtube.

    3b1b has got to be one of the best YouTube channels ever created. To make such consistent high-quality content on such a diverse set of topics is just amazing to me.

      He also wrote the programming library to create the animated graphs. He’s crazy talented in math, programming, video editing and teaching.

        He single-handed changed the math education youtube landscape. If you see a math video today, it was probably animated with his library.
