It did. At the end everyone was clapping. But the paintings of that are long lost.

This made me look up the actual drawing and search for the scenes in the comics and… man that dude was weird
This comic is like the lovechild of Hark! A Vagrant and Oglaf.
OK so I’ve looked up a few of his paintings and can only assume that was the original Where’s Wally?
