I never knew this. Holy shit. I was raised as a US Christian and one of the reasons I became an atheist was because everyone made Jesus sound indifferent to those suffering in hell.

I distinctly asked a leader why, if only people who died after Jesus’ crucifixion are saved, the people who came before and those ignorant of Jesus have to suffer hell.

The answer I got was basically ‘thems the breaks lol’
