My opinion on leather is nuanced (just learned this word lmao). I like animals and I think is bad to make them suffer, but on the other hand, lether is such a good material whose only replacement is plastic (petroleum) base materials, so I don’t know what is actually better.

There are non-plastic pleathers, like mushroom based and stuff, though admittedly I have never tried a product like that.
