Not charging my old phone to 100%, rather to 85% or 90% has helped with battery longevity immensely. Most (recent) games have a way to reduce the render resolution, while keeping the UI at native resolution. And for those that don’t, lowering the settings a bit should be enough with your gpu

PS2 and PS3 games are also abundant in Internet Archive. Using IDM (or you could use any multipart downloader you like), I can usually download from there at my max speed (which is only 65mbps but still).
