There is no good option with prospects to succeed, so refusing to support lesser evil just ensures a victory by the greater evil. And here we are.
It’s not enough to oppose both evils. You need to have a good to replace them. If your good has no chance, you just empower the greater evil. Where is your good alternative with the power to win?

I’d much rather a slow march to fascism than a fast one. When more than 15% of voters start showing up to primaries, we can start talking about marching the other way. As for now, your options are fast fascism and slow fascism. Stomping your feet and declaring that slow fascism isn’t good enough doesn’t change the options.

Yup. The only real exception is trimming connective tissue from meat. A slightly dull knife can perfectly peel it away without wasting much meat, a nice sharp knife will cut straight through it and make way more work for yourself
