Rock solid.
Rock solid.
I’ve been using DDG exclusively for years now and every now and then I feel it doesn’t give me what I seek and I try Google and it doesn’t find shit either.
People always say that Google results are still superior but I believe that’s only the case as long as you’re in the bubble they create based on your profile and you’re looking for your interests and like-minded opinions.
Of course it’s only complementary - now, that people still need convincing. Once it’s installed they’ll push to remove cash for good as ultimately it’s about control. And not being able to track cash transactions has been driving our governments crazy since forever.
This illustrates how AI will mess with news reporting. Even after explicitly stating in the title that it’s generated, people still take it as a photo.
Letztens wohl. Und ableitet von demnächst. Ich hab’s aber auch noch nie gehört.
Still ublock origin.
Definitely. I’ve registered with both, kbin and Lemmy, and unfortunately most seem to migrate towards the latter. Kbin is cleaner and less buggy.
Good for you. But since the subreddit is the explicit topic or this thread the right thing to do would have been to not post a reply at all.
Are apps site-exclusive or federated as well? Will I be able to use a Lemmy app with a kbin account?
Danke für den Pfeil. Die Typen kennt ja schließlich keiner.
Original content and exclusively for the Fediverse! That’s a good sign.
I can’t play it due to ideological reasons (can we please not post tiktok links?)
Can the reminder bots be migrated too?
I’ve had the suspicion about my comments ever since I’ve posted kbin ads (only twice). Timely comments fitting the thread and zero reactions while the one I replied to gets 1000s of upvotes.
Oh well, it’ll be over next week anyway. Prepare for the wave!
90% posts from the same account. Hardly a community.
It’s really hard to code while fucking.
Many people just have phones now.
Not OP but I have my KeePass file on a locally hosted Nextcloud instance. Synced to multiple computers and phone but the Nextcloud server is only accessible at home LAN.
Passwords are the kind of data that don’t belong in the cloud, in my opinion. Those companies are too juicy targets.
True, but you’ll save lots of time if you keep the ability to do simple math in your head.
Classmates always wondered how I could finish the tests before the time limit while they weren’t even finished when the bell rang. Well, who’d have thought, entering 20*5 into your calculator takes longer than just doing it in your head? I don’t want to know how long these people take shopping groceries now that everyone has a calculator in their pocket.
