I’m learning a bit of sign language since my wife will likely be fully deaf inside 10 years, and one day we were in a food court and I saw two people arguing in ASL.

One of them started getting larger and more abrupt with their movements and the other interrupted to sign “Don’t yell at me.”

I wasn’t paying enough attention to know what they were arguing about, but it made me giggle a bit at the phrasing.

I used to work in a warehouse that made a HUGE deal about the employees using the proper recycling bin so the company can get a nice check from somewhere or other for “going green”

This warehouse recieved thousands of pallets every day.

Each pallet is wrapped with hundreds of square feet of plastic wrap.

Each box is individually wrapped with maybe 10ftsq-50 depending on size.

Each box contains goods in plastic bags. Many of them with plastic clamshell packaging.

The products get unwrapped, and placed in larger boxes on shelves.

When the items get distributed to stores, the items were put in plastic bags, boxed up and wrapped in plastic wrap, boxes placed on pallets that were automatically wrapped by machines in hundreds of square feet of plastic.

None of the plastic from the warehouse floor is separated from the general waste.

Remember, it’s your responsibility to reduce waste.

Some of my coworkers have been literally in tears over a piece of human garbage.

One group was going on about how even if it were a democrat, “it’s always sad when an American gets killed for what they believe in”

And my response of “what about Melissa Hortman? Or her husband Mark?” was enough to get HR involved.

The HR guy is a democrat, but like… The “even with all the things happening I still believe the police are my friends and the legal system will save our country” kind. So I didn’t get in trouble, just got a “it’s probably not a good idea to start fights at work with the people we work with” and that was that.

I pushed it a little bit today when someone made a finger gun and I grabbed my neck and fell to the left a bit.

A coworker of mine was dangerously close to connecting some of the dots yesterday.

He started complaining about how things are getting more expensive, and how the company we work for has started buying things from overseas because even with tariffs it’s cheaper than buying American made, and then came the stunning part.
