Vaccines are great. I will not trust any vaccine made by a capitalist.

I particularly like the fact that they campaigned on stopping Trump and spectacularly failed twice.

1. Liberals who see themselves as progressive and are disillusioned with the democrats and the liberal media apparatus.

2. I want them to be confronted by the contradictions of the morals they project and the party they support. If they are presented with this information in such a way that by continuing to support the democrats they must start to see and accept themselves as a bloodthirsty racist, imperialist, bootlicker, etc. Since I believe perceived moral superiority is what they cling to, we need to chip away at their self-image so they are confronted with the reality of the ideology they support. This is what I need help with, because in my own interactions I am too intense and fire off facts, I see people shut down. Trump is just toooo scarrrry to recognize that the democrats are actually evil and sick people. Essentially an appeal to emotions, but leading them to this conclusion for themselves via facts about the horrors of liberal capitalism.

People would try to talk to me about the election, and I would talk about how crazy it is that Kamala is comitting a genocide and campaigning with the Cheneys, Clintons and begging for GWB to endorse her. Seeing how it fried peoples brains when I started to list of statistics about how many countries they destroyed and civilians they killed and immediately default to yeah but Trump is worse. Then follow it up with why are you okay with killing so many Arabs?

But womens reproductive rights, okay how do Democrats plan on getting those? Biden could declare a national emergency and open clinics right now but he wouldn’t because he’s a conservative catholic.

I don’t believe the bloodlust of amerikkkans toward the middle east would be reduced even if those conditions existed.

It actually still amazes me every time I am like a goldfish. Just so fucking blatant this time like they just have a blinking billboard above their heads saying “we are genocidal freaks and we hate you please give us money please please please”. Like legitimately, even Obama was probably more deadly and bloodthirsty than Trump across the globe. Dick Cheney, HRC, and it’s not even a contest. I am afraid of Trump, but I’m fucking terrified of the Clintons, the Bushes and the Cheneys. Trump simply doesn’t have the connections those ghouls have that has allowed them to destroy entire countries and kill millions of civilians.

This is why I’ve never given any thought to the harm reduction argument of voting for Dems. They HAVE caused more harm already.

EDIT: This stems from the frustration of talking to people irl, not online, about these contradictions. If you are going to say “we believe in facts” then let’s look at the numbers. They plug their ears, they don’t want to hear the real horrors or liberalism.

I voted for Stein because I want to add to the liberal meltdown over her popular vote count if Kamala loses.

0 chance the green party will ever wield power, but if they pass 5%, get federal funding and subsequently on the ballot in every state then we have a 3rd party that is at least anti-genocide.

No I don’t believe there is any strategy that will move the US government left in time, but we are here and talking about this shit so that’s my “tactical” vote. Green party is the compromise I guess.

I wasn’t A Ware of this. I only listened to a couple of things and voted Stein just because of the 5% thing. If Claudia was on the ballot in my state I would have filled in that bubble, I basically gave it very little thought or effort.

Yeah I agree with everything youve said which is why at this point in my life I am not very well traveled and haven’t considered leaving. Side note, my partner learned English and their advanced degree and career so it’s a bit different, but I will certainly make the effort if plans solidify. I will make the effort anyway but it would be motivating if I knew I was going to be there long term. I have some trade skills but my most useful contribution is living frugally and not causing trouble.

I think it became a lot more probable since she got her first medical bill from a minor injury, while having insurance, $900. Paying $1500 a month for an apartment with college students yelling next door and a homeless encampment in the woods next to the building, management doesn’t fit anything when it breaks. Spending $100 for two people for curry and icecream. Needing to own a car to do anything.
