minus-squaresimple@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up16arrow-down1·14 days ago The Batman sequel is heading from Oct. 2, 2026 to Oct. 1, 2027. What the hell is taking them so long? A 5 year gap between sequels is ridiculous.
minus-squareBlue_Morpho@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12·14 days agoI’m ok with that. 5 years is long enough that it becomes completely new. I don’t want marvel fatigue to ruin this new Batman.
minus-squareArtyom@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12arrow-down1·14 days agoIf it stays as good as the first, all will be forgiven.
minus-squareMimicJar@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·14 days agoIt is longer than normal, but not far outside the norm. Most Batman film sequels are 3-4 years apart, so 5 is long, but just a bit longer. Plus we got a fantastic Penguin show this year set in the same universe, so it feels more alive.
