What was he supposed to do, stand around and wait to get shot by cops? That would have been very stupid of him.
Put the gun down and hands up, and wait. He was a fool to think he was going to get away.
If you want to sacrifice then follow through when the job is done.
But he didn’t want to sacrifice, he wanted to kill a bastard and he did.
