Everyone knows that the more justifications you add to a statement the more truthful it is, “a necessary war of self defense” is more trustworthy than either “a necessary war” or “a war of self defense” is on their own.
Really it should say something like, “A necessary war of self defense against a great moral evil threat to the safety of worldwide peace and decency”
