SUCH a heartbreaking movie. Glad I could tune into the end. I did not even consider that there could still be a happy ending after viewing it in theaters.
After reading a lot of discourse online, I can tell you some people think that because Isabel finally looks inside herself and is heading for the exit at the end that this is a hopeful ending. I can also tell you that that is not how I read it at all

Hmm, I guess I can see that. Maybe I was too distracted/upset by the sh.
All I can remember after the bathroom scene is she sounding like she was dying. Just drowning when she had to go back to work.
What a tough watch that movie was.
