I’m trans and I really don’t want to federated with these people if their mods are defending the -tard suffix and they aren’t getting de-modded and banned. I also don’t want to be federated with them if they ban critiquing western chauvinism.

When it comes to lemmy.ml and lemm.ee, I see a good mix of fellow leftists, open-minded folks, and then of course the liberal smuglords and chuds. However, the important thing to note is that all of those users are completely atomized individuals, and I think that’s best to address them on an individual basis. The lemmy.ml leadership seems very supportive of our role there, and the lemm.ee leadership seems sufficiently open-minded despite what kinda looked like some pretty heated discussion.
And the Admin has been removing some comments with lies about hexbear doxxing lemm.ee users and ableist comments against hexbear users.
