I like broccoli cos it tastes good and works well with lots of recipes as well as being good on its own.
I somewhat resent the adults in my childhood for not knowing how to cook vegetables, because I grew up thinking they were gross.

Spinach, kale and broccoli is good for you, but any argument for why these are good and not apples, seeds, beetroot, carrots, yams, potatoes, pineapple, bananas or whatever is entirely subjective.isn’t the entire “superfood” thing (which I agree is mostly marketing BS) just about density of nutrients relative to calories and/or unit of weight?
That or its “chock full of antioxidants” or vitamins or iron or whatever the fuck quality it is they decide on, which they can market the latest crop that had a particularly good harvest season
