“All this antisemitism is very frightening,” she continued. “I know the baristas here and it’s just very upsetting that all these young people are – I don’t know what they are, ignorant? Hateful? Brainwashed? It’s very scary this is what’s happening in this country, but I hope somebody knows how to fix it because it’s really scary.”

Quitting your job is now antisemitism.

    I’m 41, still patiently waiting to finally ✨Grow Up✨ and ✨Understand✨

edit: also, I am a parent of a teen - really thought that I’d finally understand by now all the stuff bullshit I was told I would believe as an adult, back when I was a teenager with these same moral qualms about society. Maybe I’m just a slow learner?

Even fucking capitalists don’t see that as they keep hoarding the wealth, they’ll just keep creating more left-curious people (probably the only way to build collation). But they’re probably relying heavily on the fact that the average American can’t even read at a 5th grade level or the fact that poor people have a lower life expectancy

Fuck if I know honestly it’s hell at the end of the day

I’m now about 10 years away from the age he was when he told me that and I’m going much much harder left than i ever did back then with no sign of that ever changing

That’s really the appeal of conservatism that draws these people in. Its the ‘responsible’ choice. They get how household finances work. You can’t just spend. Can’t be some kind of tax and spend liberal.

          Its a false conscience.

37 here, and been working trades my whole life. Never had more than a week off of work since I was 17. Still a commie. When is this elderly boomer wisdom going to bless me?
