Good stuff in general, but having pewdie and thundef00t here as examples are not good. Been following both for really long time and being personally very very anti far-right, I think both of them were character assassinated. Video is of course 5 year old, time has shown that those two are not far-right. Other examples like Peterson definitely took the opportunity and turned theirself to full blown Nazi puppets.
I will probably be down voted for this, but had to say it.
Count how many videos on Anita Sarkasian thonderf00t did and tell me again how he is not a normie radicalizer.
He had opinion, which he voiced, and has changed some of them. From early on he disapproved other people in atheistic 2000’s circle when they started leaning right due to the feminism debacle in that time at YouTube.
He’s a misogynist and a grifter. He saw the wave of cash that youtube was giving to the gamergate commentators and piled on attacking her. If he truly changed, how is that those videos are still online? If you can’t see it, you are fucking stupid or a misogynist asshole yourself.
Whole thing probably cost more to him than gained. He didn’t go to be puppet for far-right, which some did, like arkaan, Peterson or rogan.
Definitely you are not winning anything by attacking like that. I am pro LGBTQ and pro feminist, but I refuse to be a parrot for any sides.
Incorrect, Pewdie is a racist that actively allowed his audience to be co-opted by the right wing in the form of ‘edgy humor’ and thunderf00t is a misogynist who idealizes authoritarians.
The only reason you don’t think they are far right is because a good chunk of western culture has been far right for a while and have gotten acclimated to it
For scale, in the U.S. Bernie Sanders is considered dangerously left even by some progressives. Everywhere else in the world he would be center left

I am not in US. I live in a country that doesn’t have any parties that are so right than democrats(maybe one, but it is illegal, because they were labelled hate group, and justifully so).
I have followed both of these youtubers for more than decade and their values are progressive and closer to left-wing than right-wing.
I am eat the rich level sosialist left wing, so please don’t straw man my political spectrum.
I have been following thunderf00t for years and he isn’t even the slightest bit left, and I’ve seen enough pewdiepie clips to know you are full of shit
