He even changed the presidential address microphones. They’ve been using dual SM-57s for decades, but I suppose they’re not good enough for him.

Conspiracy theory: this is Heritage Foundation steering in order to safeguard their totalitarian dictatorship in the event of Trump’s death. They’re making sure that his successors get their faces shown as much as possible up front to ease the transition.

    Bush: Dealt with 9/11

    Obama: Dealt with Bin Laden.

    Biden: Dealt with covid.

Trump: Played golf more than any other president in history in his singular first term (which by the way, ALSO included the begining of covid), is the only president to get impeached TWICE (and did it in his singular first term), got 34x convicted for actions that occured DURING his singular first term.

And now he needs a team of security blankets behind him…one of which is his son…to support him as he CONTINUES to destroy this country, and now the world. Hitler continues to be the single most destructive force the world has ever seen. Trump really feels like he’s trying to be a contender for that crown.

I’m as dumbfounded today as I was the day after the election. HOW THE FUCK DID AMERICA ELECT THIS SHITBAG AGAIN???!!!

The list of “American Presidents that weren’t deeply problematic as individuals” is a very short one, and I think the only one I’ve heard a good argument for is ole Jimmy Carter.

But Trump is still magnitudes more problematic than any of the other individuals listed, and it’s whataboutism like yours that led us here.

Whataboutism? What the heck? I’m saying we shouldn’t glorify war criminals in response to a comment glorifying war criminals. Glorifying the people who paved the way for fascism is a very bad way to fight fascism.

I don’t fully agree on Biden, but I can see where you have points to be made for your case.

You think Russia is handling Trump to attack… a Russian client state???

Given what you consider “evidence”, that laughable link and its even more ridiculous video, of course you’d believe complete nonsense.

When Obama announced the passage of ObamaCare, Biden was by his side. I remember it well because just before Obama spoke, you could hear Biden on a hot mic whisper “This is a big fucking deal, Mr President.”

Fair. I dont remember the details, but I do remember that quote. I mostly remember Obama standing there alone announcing Bin Laden’s death. It was quite memorable for obvious reasons but also I was in a bar at my buddy’s 21st birthday hangout, and things for rowdy.

The night Obama announced Bin Laden’s death was also the night he humiliated HitlerPig at the big Press Banquet. Some believe that was the moment that he decided to run for president. So while Obama was roasting HitlerPig in front of the world, he knew that he’d be ordering Bin Laden’s killing later that evening. Interesting context.

It’s about accountability. The buck stops with him, so he speaks alone and takes sole responsibility for the decision, and it’s consequences. Trump doesn’t understand that. His lackeys are there so he can blame them if it hits the fan, Iran retaliates on a US urban population, and hes left with only taco options.

Trump is always surrounded by people in his White House interviews. My whole life any time the president was talking with a camera on them in the White House it was just him on screen the vast majority of the time.

Now there are also at least 5 people standing there while he sits. Sometimes I think it’s a test. Will they stand for an hour? Will their face crack when he says something dumb?

I think he is a needy person that taxes everyone around him with his constant need for adulation. So it takes a team of people to keep him happy enough to not pick up Twitter/Truth and start opening his brain on it. Because it is clear to me that he has no adult supervision when he posts.

Alternate take: It’s an indicator that we’re stepping into a very serious war.

And of course we have nothing to gain for it.
