Because it’s not a logical contradiction. When one side is “The Good Guys™” and the other side “The Bad Guys™”, of course “The Good Guys™” have a right to get everything they need to make weapons and “The Bad Guys™” don’t. Trying to deny “The Good Guys™” their weapons just proves that you are a “Bad Guy™” and justifies why you should not be getting weapons. It’s a logical argument so long as you axiomatically accept the premise that one side is ontologically Good and the other Evil.

I do accept the premise but I don’t see how keeping AI from the good guys or giving rare earth to the bad guys helps anyone 😂
