    the Soviets largely beat the nazis. We beat the Japanese, who stood no real chance from the very start.

      Even Stalin admitted the Soviets needed Lend-lease and Allied pressure in the African and Western theatres. It was an alliance against an alliance and it’s weird to pretend otherwise.

      The people who should really be complaining are the Chinese, who caused 2 million of Imperial Japan’s 2.5 million casualties in the war, and suffered roughly 20 million civilian casualties of their own and who knows how many military.
