I just learned little nemo adventures in slumberland is based off a comic. Loved that feverdream movie as a kid, doesn’t really holdup as an adult because of the annoying side characters sadly.
Went 20 years not knowing it was based off a comic book.
I think Locke & Key has been the only show/movie I watched without knowing it was a comic.
Written by Stephen King’s son no less. I read most of the comics. Forgot it was made into a series.
I honestly can’t remember but there are a variety of ones that I did not realize were graphic novels or such and came across it later. After I find out though it is not memorable enough to remember what movies. Thinking about it though it is amazing how accepted comics and really scifi/fantasy is nowadays.
Preacher. I was a season in before I looked it up. Still haven’t read them, the show was so good.
