The judicial system is such garbage. Finding a “neutral” jury just means you get a bunch of cop-loving people with a shitty centrist bias that end up locking people in prison even when the evidence showed otherwise. If most people lean a certain way, perhaps their opinion should count.

Same reason I hate the BBC, this idea that equity for political ideologies should be respected is laughable. Eugenics, fascism, genocide are political concepts that are being provided the light of day by institutions because the financial owners understand disunity in society provide opportunities which can help them make gains under the current economic system and the only reason they pursue such endeavours is that they unironically believe those gains were mandated by heaven or some shit at this point. Everybody in power is lost in the sauce and greater society is eating the shit they’re producing… Fucking hell I hate the UK for doing this to its own people. Truly the cancer is bigger than the host

If you’re being polled for jury try saying these things:

    • Man I fucking hate Italians…
    • Healthcare? Yeah I haven’t had any problems!
    • Dude I love McDonald’s workers and people that work with cops!
    • If I saw a health insurance CEO bleeding out I would tear up my own shirt to plug the wounds… They’re my heroes.

And then you hang the jury!

Thought it was supposed to be “a jury of your peers” so people that have been screwed over by insyrance companies seem to fit the bill perfectly.

Oh, the Above The Law news outlet is a very good one.

Also, yeah, I imagine the people that are fed up and even support Luigi Mangione is under-reported or misconstrued; after all, while not everyone supports violence and killing the man, there are a lot of people that sympathize with the anger it expressed (but they won’t put that answer on a poll; it’s an uncomfortable question to ask, for starters, and they might feel guilty, so even a private answer to a poll or study will be skewed).
