I’ve seen this pitch 150 times on this site. It wouldn’t work. Most of the people misinterpreting these works so blatantly are doing so intentionally, they know they’re bullshitting, but the bullshit makes them feel cool so they keep doing it. It doesn’t matter how much you smear it in their face they’re going to intentionally not get it.
Also everyone seems to assume it’s the media DOING this to people and not that people like this are ATTRACTED to this media.
