    Those are just pictures of Naboo from star wars. Also it wouldn’t be stateless cause it would be a state. The article even calls it a city-state. If we could cordon off some wasteland and let them build their tech utopia in exchange for letting us film and broadcast the process to the sane world it’d be totally worth it.

          I earnestly think some techbro politics guys think a state arises as soon as someone who has not gotten power through “the free market” gains power (e.g. through voting/mass appeal), at least until they become techno-monarchists.

        modern capitalist markets are exactly the same as markets in Ancient Roman times, all we gotta do is make a society like that but without the the Senate and Consuls and we’re good.
