That also was Palestine the territory of Egypt and Jordan, not an independent Palestian state. Misleading on purpose perhaps? Again, it is so much more complicated than it appears.

I wonder what other major event happened in the early 40’s? That also was Palestine the territory of Egypt and Jordan, not an independent Palestian state.
