In my opinion, I feel like you should make anyone aware if they join the tankie triad. Otherwise, it usually leads to them having a bad impression of Lemmy and leaving it for Reddit.
I usually just write a short paragraph explaining why they shouldn’t join those three instance, and reccommend an instance (usually sopuli.xyz, thanks to the criteria you made once).
