Nom-Nom pinewood is delicious
Really looking forward to this wave; the tracks look amazing! Koopa Cape especially
Oh dear…
First that name. Oh my word. Just no.
Second, pretty much directly encouraging piracy. Just… That’s also a hard no.
Sorry, while the technological concept is interesting for games that don’t have a restrictive license, between a lack of forethought regarding the name and the outright condonment of piracy, I’m gonna have to stay away. If these issues are readdressed in the future, it my be worth re-examining
Nah, that was just the cherry on top for me. GOG also refuses to support Linux with their client, delisted a Taiwanese game due to Chinese government pressure, have hedged REALLY close to DRM content like with Hitman…
The cyberpunk 2077 was just another case if acting in bad faith. CD projekt red acts in bad faith. Till they change that, I am sticking with steam
It seems meta wants “off the record” meetings with instance admins, such as Fosstodon https://fosstodon.org/@kev/110592625692688836
In that case, assuming I read you correctly, I have to disagree. Privacy and security companies cannot rely on advertising or telemetry to be profitable; doing so is counter and paradoxical to their standing as a security/privacy company.
Bitwarden seems to be doing just fine. 1Password should be taking cues from them, not advertising revenue
Nah. Its just a tried and true step of enshitification. Fingers crossed that bitwarden is already profitable so we still have a good cloud password manager…
Genuinely cannot tell if you are sarcastic or not.
I’m not sure its a good idea to recommend in privacy guides if it is a security issue or it breaks things…
Honestly, we don’t deserve some of these good developer folks. We are super lucky to have them.

Just wanna take a moment to let people know about a very, very good and reputable tool for privacy and windows. Honestly, it should be on the privacy guides website imho.
Linux is better, but if you have to use Windows, there is the Chris Titus Tech tool available. You can set power-user privacy options easily, massively debloat your windows installation, install programs, and easily set your update settings to security only, if that is what you want.
It’s also freaky easy to use, and comes from one of the foremost minds in the tech world today.
I’m considering using Power Delete Suite to delete my account, overwrite my previous comments, and maybe leaving a couple of my top comments up regarding tech support so people can still find information on troubleshooting
This looks fantastic. Thanks for the link!
