Without context this is meaningless. Are you gotten blocked in Github from a specific repository? And why posting it here, what do you try to achieve?

I finally finished the last job in Cyberpunk 2077. Now I am ready for the next thing. As a fan of emulation, there are a few games where I am in the middle of the game and need to resume playing: There is Crusader of Centy and Metroid Prime. Or I start playing a new game such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Resident Evil 2 Remake on PC. The Finals is also interesting but that is something I would have to play on the Xbox Series S, because it does not work on a Linux PC. Baldur’s Gate 3 is on my radar, but I don’t know when I’m ready for as it seems to be very time consuming.

No need to check, as it’s the same person who posted it in 5 communities, even in Open Source, where it does not belong. So its clearly spam and should be treated as such.

I felt getting ripped off by just reading the article. My recent PC build has 32 GB, is cheaper and the upgrade to 64 GB (meaning additional pair of 16 GB) only costs me around 100 Euros. It’s nice that their devices are probably more effective and need less RAM, which the iPhones proved to be correct. But that does not mean the cost of the additional RAM units are more expensive. Apple chose to make them expensive.

I just made a premature comment and deleted after starting to read the blog post. I did not expect that.

You can just transfer the files and it should find them again. I did that with Kiwix and Zeal, if I’m not mistaken. Nowadays I don’t use Zeal, but don’t remember having such a trouble when installing a new os and taking old HDD over.

Exactly. Battletoads isn’t unfair, its just extremely hard (not different from Dark Souls). It’s different kind of hard, compared to Turtles, which had bad controls in example.

I never played that game, but already gave up after reading a lot about it. Another game many people learned to give up is probably Battletoads.

Secret of Mana was originally developed and planned to be released for the SNES CD ROM extension (named Playstation!). It had way more content, graphics and music in CD quality. But, as we know, Nintendo suddenly stopped the plans for CD ROM and Sony created the Playstation therefore. And this angered Squaresoft too, as they had to rework the game and create a cut down version for the cartridge, and it was still more expensive compared to CD too. And later when Nintendo went with carts on N64 again, they had enough and developed Final Fantasy 7 for the Playstation.

Yasunori Mitsuda, the main composer of Chrono Trigger, worked so hard and poured his heart into the game that he got sick and could not work anymore. And because of a hard drive crash he lost ton of in work tracks. That’s why Nobuo Uematsu helped him to finish the scores.

Every software should respect your freedom, not just software that controls your body.

What makes it worse for me is, that I sometimes fall in love with a Free to Play game, instead playing “owned” titles. Then there are the even more enormous count of emulation games with ROMs… and my brother gifted me a Series S where I had tried the Game Pass trial. I don’t know where left and right is anymore.
