I’m new to the fediverse and can’t access the link.

I’m on pixelfed.ca and logged in, but the link demands that I log into an account on pixtagram.social. (I also did a global search for “punk rock history” but it doesn’t show up.)

Is there a way I can see it without creating a pixtagram.social account?

Only discovered D.O.A. a few years ago (thanks to the posts of Vancouverite Philip Random on Metafilter), first time listening to the whole album.

Kind of fun then finally watching some old Vancouver-shot Stephen J. Cannell shows on free streaming, and seeing Wiseguy’s Ken Wahl standing in a phone box making a call with a big old D.O.A. poster right by his head.

Maybe time for a drinking game: drink every time you see a D.O.A. or nomeansno poster, flyer or sticker in a Stephen J. Cannell show. (Resulting in Dutch courage to finally smash the state?)

IIRC, Chauvin made the plea deal on federal charges so that he would do his time in the relative safety of a federal prison.

Which would mean that if he gets pardoned on federal charges, then he would have to serve out his remaining state time in a state pen… the very thing he wanted to avoid. He would probably be dead in under a month unless he spent the next decade or more in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day (like he did in his pre-trial detention).

Which would be a crying shame, of course…

1. Buy a share in a publicly-traded insurance company.
2. At a shareholder meeting, ask if the company has factored increased political risk, vandalism, arson, third-party damage from arson, etc into its premium calculations for: Tesla owners; Tesla showrooms; Tesla charging stations; car parks that even have Teslas in them; any other conceivably exposed company or individual.
3. Repeat with every other insurance company.
4. Repeat said concerns in every other possible medium (is there a Lemmy community for insurance actuaries?)
5. Sit back and watch people and businesses scramble to avoid “the Tesla tax” of ever-increasing insurance premiums.
