API is almost done! Been using an internal build of the app that uses Artemis’ kbin instance with those changes. And oh god is so much better 👌
So we’re nearing a point where apps for kbin will start popping up ✨
I feel the exact way but in reverse lmao. Who be using websites these days 🤣
Microblogging is the first thing that comes to mind. And subscribing or blocking entire domains.
Working hard on it! Can’t wait for API to go live to make it widely available.
I wrote an API adapter layer to be able to support both kbin and lemmy in the app. Want to open source that as a package, so hopefully more apps can easily add support for both 🤞
right?! LOVE THAT ONE.
Nope, at worst you’ll get an email when public beta goes out :)
Official API is almost getting there. I’m alredy updating the app to start using it with my test instance that has it deployed. Just to get ahead of it.
As soon as public API goes live. Getting app ready for that already. As it’s nearing completion.
API is almost done and already working on an update that switches to it. Login will use oauth, so we won’t be at the mercy of cookies :)
If you don’t want to use the compact card, you can disable link previews in the settings. Then it won’t fetch info for it :)
Official kbin API is coming out soon. Already working on an upgrade using a preview of it. So as soon as that goes live, we’ll switch over and no more auth issues. Just hold on for a bit heh.
Yeee. Let me know how that’s working today 😁
The compact view got an update that went in yesterday with the intro of large cards. Hopefully you’re enjoying it.
There was a fix last night at 11pm (pacific). So, if you login after that time, it should be improved.
Let me know if not.
Yeeeee! 💃
There will be picker for view mode coming soon.
Totally. All setup for this. Just need to think about how to best handle loading pages. Especially if they end up mostly empty.
Could show the few items. Or could just make you wait while we keep fetching more and more items to meet page size.
For sure lmk the elements that aren’t iOS enough! So far I have redoing the dialogs in my list. Already try to use as many native components underneath.
