That’s kinda where I was before I put the game down for S1. The payout doesn’t seem worth learning the dance

My childhood was a LOT of Jet Moto 2, Coolboarders 2 and Twisted Metal 2.
Bring em all back.
Absolutely one of my favorite shows. It hits all the right notes for me. I can definitely understand why it wouldn’t be someone’s cup of tea, but it absolutely resonated with me.
I have that problem with any linear RPG/adventure game. They paint the path from start of game to completion with VERY obvious yellow paint. I wanted to like games like Darksiders, but the game felt very “on rails”.
I don’t want every game to be open world, but don’t put breadcrumbs down for me either. Let me figure it out.
I’m a produce manager for a grocery chain in the SE US. I tell people ALL of the time to pick out the ugliest cantaloupe/honeydew because it’s typically going to be the sweetest/most ripe.
You’ll have people shaking, rolling, knocking on melons trying to find “the good ones”. It’s pretty funny to watch people make their selections.
Uniracers? That game was awesome! The soundtrack was really good too
Dozens of people still use Tumblr!

Breakdown of the stream announcements.
I’m not saying I’m underwhelmed, but there’s a part of me that wish they touched up the endgame more. There’s a lot of potential and I feel like they’ve had AMPLE feedback from the community. World bosses still don’t feel worth it. Nightmare Dungeons have been buffed, but still feel fairly mid. There’s no increased incentive/reward to push higher keys aside from keeping the mob level in line with yours. Helltides getting buffed is nice, but almost feels meaningless without WT5.
It really only gets worse as time goes on. It’s like the NPC level is static and they get one shot, but the monsters scale up and up. I only do the events because of the density for XP.
Thats the real reward, the resplendent would just be a bonus if you got it.
Sometimes that’s what it takes for new players to really feel and understand the consequences of their actions. Combat might not always be the best solution and escaping a battle is always on the table.
