That’s why I never use AI pilots. I put my folks on guns when I’m not farming XP plus one engineer and pilot myself. Well piloting is the most fun part to me too.

I do a monitoring job and outside of training newbies being in the office (thankfully only a few times per month we have to go to the office) feels just so pointless. Sure, the extra hardware does help but we don’t have things happening that much too often and our tools actually work better on the VPN.
Add to that the fact our shifts are 12h (day and night shift) in exchange for working less days in a week - when someone lives further from the office it’s a full day, exhausting ordeal. Getting up at 5.30 am, returning home 10pm kind of thing.
I’m a big Railjack fan. I also really enjoy Duviri, it quite reinvigorated my desire to play when it came out. Especially the Circuit.
That’s the case with all abilities that can drain your health. Used to be the case with self damage too. Pretty much intended design.
Breach Surge sparks benefit from a lot of decrees too beyond the Deadly Decrees thing. With Nourish on Wisp and some of those I’ve been getting insane damage numbers. The crit frost hit one, headshot toxin one, probably some more too.
If you ask me, “best frame” is nothing if you don’t like playing it in the first place. Do you like tanks? Casters/ability damage frames? Weapon platform frames? There’s also many variables introduced via Helminth. And the best frame won’t do shit if you don’t mod it right and don’t play it right the higher you go - higher levels increase reliance on shield gating, staying mobile and things that let you straight up ignore damage.
Here’s some things I do like a lot to go for myself though but I can take most frames currently and get them going for a long time in SP:
-Mag - very easy shield gating, elevates projectile weapons to great heights
-Zephyr - can ignore most damage, has incredible crowd control coupled with damage amplification
-Xaku - yoink gun be skelly, full defense strip and scaling damage
-Nezha - can tank for a very long time and isn’t hard to make into someone who can tank and also shield gate
-Yareli - slightly more gimmicky water Nezha
-Ivara - when I want to snipe heads, camp a spot or roll around
-Gyre - what if World on Fire but electric and you can use Pillage to make it never fall off and survive too
-Grendel - UWU. Can shield gate, can tank, can strip armor.
-Citrine - well I’m a big status stan and she got this plenty
-Baruuk - punch, tank, with Pillage can go 5ever
Revenant is immortal, can be built for literally deleting health bars or for being an immortal platform for weaponry. Gauss, a zoomies full package boi. Gloom Banshee keeping enemies crowd controlled, coupled with armor strip and incredible damage potential. Garuda with endless slashes. Ash with his Disruption popularity.
And then there’s Octavia which I can’t play for long before I get bored off my ass but she’s able to go ad infinitum especially if you give her an armor strip.
I love it. Circuit with its rotating game modes takes out the usual boredom I feel in endurance runs, especially after the defense changes while the experience gives me a pretty nice feeling alternative mode (and sometimes I wish I could have just that without the Undercroft). You can break the game in multiple fun ways. And you can experiment so much with things.
I’m planning to stick around. Sadly the mobile Lemmy app is not great yet on iOS but I plan to stick around especially once Apollo goes under. And I’m not great at being a regular participant and being social but I’ll gladly keep answering questions that pop up as much as I can.
It’s already available in those as long as the correct spirals are in place (fear, sorrow and anger). You can do it as side objective and I suppose it might get selected as a story objective.
Warframe’s optimization truly is something else. Both in terms of space and the stuff it can run on.
It’s same as the weapon it’s put on - Incarnon is basically an alternative fire mode.
Little correction on gear: keys should be active I believe and pizzas are placed on a cooldown but no specters or ciphers allowed.
