Just because it’s low compared to other CEOs doesn’t make it reasonable and justified. Also, Wikipedia isn’t a “high-profile firm”. It’s (at least supposed to be) a non-profit that takes donations to keep the site running and free.

Grerkol@leminal.spacetoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•Does it count twice if I raise them both?132·1 day agoThat seems like a completely nihilistic and empty view of politics. What do you even actually think a society that isn’t “corrupt” (or at least is less corrupt) could look like? How can you blame the people with no power at all just as much as the president?
Blaming everyone for everything is basically the same as blaming nobody for anything.
It’s fine to think that the vast majority of people believe in propaganda or are worried about things that don’t matter.
My main problem really is with you saying “any talk of politics is pointless”. It’s just complete doomerism.
This guy is very well known for being untrustworthy and having little to no journalistic integrity.
I honestly don’t know a huge amount about him, but as a fan of video essays I do know that there are lots of videos criticising his, and I did watch one that explained how he was working with the World Economic Forum to push propaganda.
