You must’ve been reading a much higher caliber of novels than I have then. I have read a lot of trash though, so it’s hardly surprising that a trashy novel has trashy themes and empty shock value.

SA is usually used in fiction just for pure empty shock value, it isn’t about how it affects women, 90% of the time it is just used to “inspire” the men in the story to seek revenge. So usually I’d agree with this statement of it not belonging in a work of fiction.

However, context does matter, and it does just seem like this guy is mad that his cool TV fascists are doing actual fascist things instead of just being “badass” or whatever.

Of course they did, they even got a jury of their peers.

It does have actual use cases, but the way it is set up and operates in the west is just a giant pyramid scheme, it’ll go the way of NFTs, Bitcoin and the dot com bubble sooner or later. These companies just keeping making more and more profit but no actual value. Sooner or later people will be forced to accept that AI as it exists can’t actually do any of the hypothetical future claims they say it might do and people will stop investing and the bag holders will be ruined and the people who started this will have become far more obscenely wealthy than before and suffer no real consequences.

One thing Georg Oreo was right about was the control of language to make people unable to express more complex thoughts, but like the rest of his work, it was all just projection of what capitalism does.

I’m surprised that the EU and places like Canada and Australia didn’t “take the deal” here. I’m very surprised to see our ruling class here actually put our country ahead of America for a change. Alas we have an election in a month so if the libs get in they’ll just do whatever America asks.

Sometimes I feel like I’m kind of pathetic. There’s so much more I could be doing to help people, so much more work I could get done, sometimes I chastise myself for being too lazy.

Then I see people like this and realise it’s all about perspective. I can be too hard on myself. At least I’m doing something with myself, even if I can’t give 110% every day, I can still actually contribute what I can and actively enrich people’s lives, even in small ways.

They claim they aren’t a “limp-wristed woke fest” yet their graphic designer is the most limp wristed person in existence. So bland, so generic. I suppose this is what “cissy pride” does offer though, everything will be bland and white.

I just hope their musicians play some songs claiming to be about “straight pride” and then play stuff by like, David Bowie or Freddie Mercury or someone. Always hilarious when they do that.
