My opinion: Hyperion is a beautiful work of art. I was in awe reading it. You get your mind bent in different ways and it was glorious. The Expanse is very good craftmanship. The authors took a lot of what is good about space opera and put it in this series and it is fun to read. You should read both, but Hyperion first. (it also goes better with the epic experience of Lotr)

Also ich hab jetzt schon zwei so Kollegen mit dem Rad durch dieses Alter gebracht. Es wurde oft im Kindersitz hinten und im Fahrradanhänger gepennt. Und ja, die Birne baumelte immer furchterregend, aber es ist nie irgendwas passiert. Außerdem sehe ich andauernd im Straßenverkehr Kinder im Kindersitz pennen und ich hab noch nie gesehen, das eines davon ein Nacken Kissen o.ä. hatte. Helm und vernünftiger Sitz auf jeden Fall, aber mehr ist meiner Meinung nach nicht nötig.
