That is a very good point.

They didn’t really, though. They gave him immunity from being prosecuted for what he does as president…but that doesn’t mean everything he does is legal. His orders can still be struck down in court (or at least they should be).

The problem right now, is the fact that he is just ignoring the court’s orders. That is still illegal, even if he may not necessarily be prosecuted for it later. We’ll see what happens though. At some point the law needs to either hold up against him, or it means nothing, and the Constitution itself is no longer valid.

Did any of these people even try and explain to him how tariffs actually work…or was that a step too far?

Who’s going to stop him? At this point, it seems pretty obvious he can just do whatever he wants. The Constitution is dead, right along with the Judiciary’s authority to challenge him.

And Harvard tuition fees go, “Brrrrrrrrrr!”

Considering this word really applies most to people like Joe Rogan, I find this whole thing pretty ironic.

If he’s just going to let them all die from preventable causes, then he shouldn’t be allowed to have any more children. That’s just straight up negligence.

Just get a tissue sample for the DNA. Bring them back once Capitalism is over.

Is it officially considered a “Constitutional crisis” yet? This kind of logic only works on toddlers, when you want to make an excuse about something and you know they lack the mental maturity to dispute it. Normal, rational adults all understand what this means.

So, when are the adults in the room going to step up and say something about it? Or are we all just going to pretend we’re toddlers, and don’t understand what this means?

Seriously. That option needs to be removed from the Charter. I haven’t heard one instance where it was used in a positive way. It’s always to do something that violates someone else’s rights.

Markets up…markets down. But low…sell high. These assholes are making bank while the rest of us watch in horror.

So the trick to getting away with doing shit like this is to just be open about it? Weird. If that was the case, then why not give these Democrats a pass, as well? They aren’t exactly hiding it either.

I’m fine calling out the 2% of Democrats that vote against their own constituents interests. But what I find hilarious, is the total lack of focus on the fact that 100% of Republicans are behind this.

This is what Chomsky was talking about when he wrote manufacturing consent. The framing here is massively deceptive, to the point of being completely backwards…and folks just eat it up this way. They swallow this narrative whole, and spit it back up for others to swallow.

So, even more evidence of insider trading? Too bad they cut funding to all the agencies responsible for dealing with this kind of corruption.
