I did it, I made it all the way to the end. It wasn’t easy, but here I am. I probably should have dropped it, but I didn’t. There’s really not much to praise this anime for, but it had a positive tone and there were mildly interesting events happening. They also definitely made it feel like a fantasy world; the idea that everything comes from dungeon drops is in itself interesting, but the exploration of this concept was just wacky. I guess maybe I was supposed to laugh at all the lukewarm wacky stuff.

The fact that they had an episode summary at the start of most episodes was pretty crazy.

Out of all the shows I watched this season, this was probably the okayest one. Completely non-offensive, but not really much to recommend it. I say that as a huge isekai fan as well. I think if Am I Actually the Strongest and Sweet Reincarnation didn’t exist, this would have been at the bottom of the barrel for me.

I didn’t dislike this show at all, and it did have some really interesting ideas, but it seemed like they were just trying to make the most generic show possible. I remember someone in the comments on one of the earlier episodes was pondering “I can’t tell if this is generic power fantasy or if there’s something else going on. Edit: He just got guns, yeah, they’re not even trying to hide it” or something to that effect. Sums the show up pretty well. OP MC in fantasy world puts together harem (except I don’t think he had much of an interest in his harem aside from them helping him make money) and is just the baddest badass ever.
