I can’t help but feel that this is a slap on the wrist for one of the largest data leaks in history. What are your thoughts?

    A Meta spokesperson told Reuters that the company had settled the lawsuit in Australia on a no admission basis, closing a chapter on allegations regarding past practices of the firm.

    This sounds more like an inconvenience to Meta. Did they learn anything about respecting user privacy? Maybe they learned to not get caught next time.
