It’s refreshing to see the hatred for .world coming from within their house. I’m referring to the comments in the linked thread. It even looks like the mods of the their c/linux comm are talking about moving to another instance. And some people calling the .world mods feds, which wouldn’t surprise me if at least one really was, corralling everyone to their reddit 2.0. Anyway, the thread is ripe for hexbears with lemmy.ml accounts to go in and do a little shit-stirring. I might myself if I weren’t about to crash out.
I frankly don’t expect it to last, like-- maybe I’m just a cynic; but I don’t really expect the settlers of our more regressive fediverse neighbors to really do anything about the manifold nazi bar cesspools they swim in; but especially not .world.
Nobody hates reddit[.world] like redditors[.world]. How much they hate it is one of their favourite topics. The only thing they hate more are other social media, or in the case of .world other instances.

I’m glad, too. I think some people from reddit are starting to realize they don’t actually want another reddit lol.
