    Seriously though. It’s the thought that counts. I don’t care if you had to slave away to earn enough to get my trinket, the reward is knowing someone thought of you.

    If go as far as to say if someone tells me what they would have bought me that’s almost as good as receiving it. I can buy something I had no idea existed and they get the credit for that.

    And later when you earn a metric ton of money and find something for them, they squirm and pretend you had to rip out your own liver for their $50 <whatever>.

    Nearly every time when asked what i want to do for father’s day, i say idc as long as we are spending time together. Totally mean it.
