She can be as right-wing as she wants, but corporations will STILL see her as “the enemy” and will band together to make life worse for poor people as a form of protest. Once she’s in (or trump, really) Porky will continue to complain vocally about anything left of anarcho-capitalism. The time they’ve already spent controlling info and framing all issues rightward has been the engine behind America’s supposedly “center-right” constituency.
Not that ya don’t already know this but there’s no new strat here, her strategy is the same as the DNCs, to set heavily means-tested policies juuuuuuust to the left of center and then capitulate rightward ad-infinitum. Then just over 3 years into her term she’ll start talking bout how those promises Biden she made won’t come unless she’s reelected in a blue wave.
The only thing im not sure of is who the Dems and media will elevate to boss baddie once trump is grifting the worms. Is DeSantis enough of a R bugaboo to recreate another election to “save democracy”?
