Hello,
At my new work I got this very lightweight Jabra headphone & micro on a stick (IDK but it looks like a Biz 2300 Duo). It works very well (sound and micro), but the cable is some of the devil’s work, it’s rubbery and it sticks on anything, there is some stupid heavy connector perfectly at the worst part of the cable, roll it up and store it (if you can) and it’ll come out like a Gordian knot, try to turn the usb 180° to fit in the usb slot and the whole apparatus tries to prevent it by pushing back as the cable is so rigid.
Briefly, albeit being at use only for once or twice a day, and with a good sound, it drives me crazy.
Searching on a search engines nowadays only yields like “why not buy a JABRA” so I’m turning to you in my quest for a lightweight, small, transportable, easy to use, somewhet sturdy headphone with a micro that has a good sound for talking to people (no need for music!).
Cheers
Edit: usb slot not slit
Never had an issue with Plantronics. You could go for their Poly Blackwire series, such as the 3325 or the 5220. They all come with both a 3.5mm TRRS aux port, and an optional USB adapter you can plug it into, if you need volume and call controls. Also, the entire 3.5mm cable is replaceable, so you can swap it out if it ever gets frayed or damaged. They also have a USB-C variant, but IMO just get the 3.5mm+USB-A variant for more options, plus you can always use an A-C adapter if you really need USB-C.
Do you need an USB slit? If not, check the Koss headset business line.
Thanks but I prefer wire, just to be sure it’s disconnected:-)
They are TRRS wired. I see they also got USB ones: https://koss.com/collections/headsets-gaming-headphones
I think I’ve got the CS200i one on an xrest stand, so I can mute it without MS teams showing that.
edit: looked up the correct name of the thing.
Thanks, that seems exactly what I’m looking for, will definitely check out!
Cheers
