    one my favorite thing about Russian language is the root of the word for ‘to work’ and ‘job;’ “Работать” и “Работа” (“Rab-oh-tat” and “Ra-boh-tah”) is the root word for slave 'Раб" (“Rab”)

    Also a word for a worker (masculine), by attaching the masculine person-role suffix ‘-Ник’ (‘-Nik,’) is Работник (“Rab-oht-nik”) which yes is exactly the origin for the name of eggman-announcement

      I feel like robotnik’s vibes would be more master oriented than worker or slave oriented.

      Interesting that our word for slave comes from slavic people’s, but their word for worker comes from their word for slave.

      The french “travail” comes from latin for torture. Actually pregnant women go into “travail”~labor.
