Lmao the questions seem to be weirdly pro-Trump for CNN. There’s this question about calling Walz out on a lie about going to China during Tianamen Square. Kinda just bizarre.
It was funny how when he “answered” the question it sounded more like he was getting defensive about going to China at all, rather than just saying “well damn I guess I forgot the exact details of something that happened 35 years ago” even when they asked for clarification, he just kind of reiterated the original claim that he was there during the protests lol.
I mean, the “Tiananmen Square” that Americans think of is just one picture on one day, but there were student protests for at least three months right? So he could have just said he was there during the student movement of '89? Daddy football was pretty garsh darn flustered tonight for sure.
Right, but the protests and the aftermath were pretty much over by early to mid-June. He didn’t even go to Hong Kong until August, if I remember correctly. Sure it may have been a topic of discussion while he was there, but he was not actually there during them.
