    Or, you could, idk, work WITH China to actually improve the lives of your citizens, instead of the bank accounts of the owner class. *turns head* what? Oh…I’ve just been informed that the system is designed only to do the latter thing and the former thing only ever happens when they feel real threat to their power.

      As will be the case, they will use sanctions first, then violence, finally diplomacy will be attempted. To no avail, since the last thing was supposed to happen first.

      It’s funny how they set up this false dichotomy that either China or the US has to be a global hegemon, and completely exclude any possibility of peaceful coexistence.

        Absolutely agree. I love seeing China building out actual infrastructure, then doing really bomb shit after like forgiving debt so that countries could focus on addressing COVID instead of paying loans, because China understands that good will goes a long way in the future. America is concerned with next quarter, China is concerned with the next quarter century.
