In fact cut all of it. Remove the entire government.
That isn’t what the ruling class wants or intends to do. Even AnCaps want a government even under pretenses of destroying government.
Even if that wasn’t the case, whatever the unchecked ruling class would put into place right after removing the entire government would also be a government, just worse.
I mean of course they won’t cut the bad parts out. But by cutting it apart and ruining any semblance of functionality I think it will help radicalize people and remove some of the mysticism around “running the government like a business.” I think people seeing what that looks like would be very beneficial for organizing. The US government as is won’t ever work for people so we may as well show the people what it really does.
I see what you mean, but I don’t know if people’d really be aware in sufficient numbers of what just happened and how it could be improved upon somewhat.
Collapsed states sometimes just remain collapsed and get plundered on the regular from states that haven’t yet collapsed.
Gotta find hope where we can. All of us were radicalized by some material change in our life or in the world, so maybe government collapsing is a big enough material change to radicalize others. I don’t think it’s the best way though at all. Just one route.
Although the movie is peak Reddit, idiocracy is ancap 1984.
Even in that setting, the ancap main antagonists had some form of government. Yes, it was an openly corporate McGovernment but why would the elites want to abolish their own protectionism AND can get a personal army financed by the yucky poors, that pay 100% of the taxes?
