“nonpolitical” characteristics where not a single uncomfortable thought might reach the treat hogs’ unbothered heads?
They babble about 
but what they want is the cheap lazy noisy thought-terminating spectacles from Fahrenheit 451.
People in general recognize the problem. They just want to be told they aren’t part of the problem, they’re the resistance.
